16 notes appear on the staff one at a time. Play the correct note on the piano as quickly as possible. Wrong notes are highlighted in red — keep trying until you hit the right one.
Controls
𝄞 / 𝄢
Toggle Treble clef (C4–G5) and Bass clef (F2–H3) note pools.
Cycles through: 1× note names on staff, 2× + key LED highlights, 3× all off.
C
Keyboard labels: 1× middle C (C4) marker, 2× all white key names (HU uses H for B), 3× off.
L1–L3
Level: (1) Basic — white keys, treble C4–G5 & bass F2–H3. (2) Intermediate — same + ♯/♭. (3) Pro — chromatic in clef range (treble ≥ C4, bass ≤ H3), or narrowed by connected MIDI device.
MIDI
MIDI calibration (Level 3): Before you start, play your controller’s lowest and highest keys once. The app learns your range and remembers it after refresh (e.g. 37-key boards).
♩
Adds note values (quarter, half, whole notes). Can be combined with chromatic.
Mode ▲▼Session: one round then results. Flow: endless auto-continue.
Staff is rendered with VexFlow (vector). It auto-fits the black panel so ledger lines and labels stay visible.
Learning Tip
The eye button cycles through three assist levels: note names on the staff, then key LEDs on the piano, then off. Start with both aids, then gradually turn them off as your reading improves.
